چکیده
A bstract We study a renormalizable model of Dirac fermion dark matter (DM) that communicates with the Standard Model (SM) through pair mediators — one scalar, in representation ( 6 , 1 $$ \frac{4}{3} 4 3 ) SM gauge group SU(3) c × SU(2) L U(1) Y . Indirect Dark Matter Signals
Dark Matter annihilation (DMA) may yield an excess of gamma rays and antimatter particles, like antiprotons and positrons, above the background from cosmic ray interactions. Several signatures, ranging from the positron excess, as observed by HEAT, AMS-01 and PAMELA, the gamma ray excess, as observed by the EGRET spectrometer, the WMAP-haze, and constraints from antiprotons, as observed by BESS...
متن کاملRadio signals of particle dark matter
In most of particle dark matter (DM) models, the DM candidate injects sizable fluxes of high-energy electrons and positrons through its annihilations or decays. Emitted in regions with magnetic field, they in turn give raise to a synchrotron radiation, which typically covers radio and infrared bands. We discuss the possibility of detecting signatures of Galactic and extra-galactic DM in the tot...
متن کاملSearching for Signals of Dark Matter Decay
Dark matter is believed to comprise approximately eighty-three percent of the matter in the universe, yet little is known about how it fits into our picture of the elementary particles that make up the world around us. There are now many great efforts underway to try and detect dark matter and probe the nature of its relation to the Standard Model of particle physics. In this work we investigat...
متن کاملNeutralino Dark Matter and Caustic Ring Signals
We have studied the effects on the gamma-ray flux on Earth by neutralino annihilations in caustic rings of dark matter in the Galactic halo. The caustic ring model by Sikivie has been used where dark matter particles are assumed to possess angular momentum with respect to the Galactic centre. The computer code DarkSUSY was then used to examine the supersymmetric implications on the flux. We con...
متن کاملDark Matter Signals from Cascade Annihilations
A leading interpretation of the electron/positron excesses seen by PAMELA and ATIC is dark matter annihilation in the galactic halo. Depending on the annihilation channel, the electron/positron signal could be accompanied by a galactic gamma ray or neutrino flux, and the non-detection of such fluxes constrains the couplings and halo properties of dark matter. In this paper, we study the interpl...
